A girl lives on Hayling Close in Frankley, she wonders where Hayling Island really is, she dreams about a blue sea, clear sky, a new bedroom all to herself and peace from her noisy brothers. She decides to runaway. Here is the story of the street party we staged to name an imaginary street after Wendy Scattergood. We had a great time and even the Queen came to visit us.
